Hey guys! As you may have heard, I just published an app! You can check out the privacy policy for that here in the blog and the video in the "YouTube" section on my site.

I started learning to code two years ago and chipped away at my app and a little game I may publish later.

I got as far as I could on my own, but ended up needing some help to finish it. I hired a coder to help me finish it up and after a couple of weeks, it was finished!

Here's a screenshot of the app in action.

Each of the buttons cycles through a random list of options, relating to an overall category.

The eight categories are:

Gender, Race, Age, Class, Personality Trait, Physical Trait, Style, and Accessory.

You can also cycle through all of them at once by hitting the "Randomize All" button.

The credits button will show you who else put work into the app besides me!

As you can also see from the screenshot, it's ad supported, but it's a pretty small banner that doesn't really get in the way of anything.

In the app description, you'll also see that this app doesn't generate an image for you. It only generates text for you to create a character with.

That's how I came up with this fun avatar concept!

I also excluded things like sexual orientation, overtly identifying marks or features, etc. I wanted the personal details like that to come from the user. As I state in the description, the app is meant to "Spark" your imagination, not to come up with all the details for you!

Mostly though, it's meant to be a fun way to challenge yourself or break free from artist's or writer's block. I hope you guys have a lot of fun with it!
